I really enjoyed the perspective of someone South Asian. I am also from that demographic group and I really liked hearing that perspective
The cues were also really funny
What I didn't like
It felt a bit rambling at times. I think the way it was delivered was engaging, doing more interactive elements (like the dancing) were effective at keeping the audience engaged, but I sometimes had the feeling of “wait, how did we get here again?”. I think following those tangents can be fun, but it did sometimes feel disconnected.
My overall impression
Serena presents a heartfelt story about what it was like growing up as a child of different cultures and worlds. And at the same time, it was incredibly funny. I had a great time!
