I particularly enjoyed the way that she built herself up both physically and emotionally over the hour. I loved the way she interacted with the projections at backgrounds, it looked beautiful and was very effective. Accessible, salient, well acted, and ultimately hopeful. This show delivers A lot of laughs, and encourages a lot of acceptance.

My overall impression
It’s like if the monologue from Barbie was less corny and more accessible…and funny! Serena is such a talented performer as she gracefully glides us in and out of the various folders of her mind. Heartfelt and heartwarming. At times it hit the ouch but good feeling, like a massage to a sore muscle, and hilarious! I wish I had one of these for every single one of my friends. An hour long breakdown of the internal jokes and conversations she has with herself complete with all the digital footnotes and video references. Some of the notable subject matter for me was public perception, weight, womanhood and mental health. All of which she talks through very comfortably, like a cool aunt telling you about who she really is and how the world really is.
