Hilarious! Serena Anis is both funny and incredibly smart. The show dives into different aspects of her life and has a lot to say about the entertainment industry, and society as a whole. Her story is very personal yet at the same time relatable to anyone who’s ever felt out of place in this world. Genuine and vulnerable at times, Serena infuses her story with so much self deprecating humor that I was bursting out laughing almost the whole way through. ...

A heartwarming and vulnerable show about identity. Serena does a deep dive into her personal past and shows us the good and the bad. It's funny, sad and makes you think. As a millennial myself, I related a lot to her story and even through the specific stories they felt universal. ...

It's like if the monologue from Barbie was less corny and more accessible…and funny! Serena is such a talented performer as she gracefully glides us in and out of the various folders of her mind. Heartfelt and heartwarming. At times it hit the ouch but good feeling, like a massage to a sore muscle, and hilarious! I wish I had one of these for every single one of my friends. An hour long breakdown of the internal jokes and conversations she has with herself complete with all the digital footnotes and video references. All of which she talks through very comfortably, like a cool aunt telling you about who she really is and how the world really...

A delightful journey inside the hilarious, poignant, and fascinating brain of Serena Anis. Filled with pop culture references that will make millennials (and other generations) cackle with glee -- the show is both a love letter to the 90s/early 2000s and a critique of its toxic beauty standards. "Me Be Me" is a testament to the principle that the more specific a story is, the more universal it becomes. Anis' performance is grounded with an emotional depth that is absolutely stunning to watch. She immediately draws the audience in and delivers delightful surprises along the way that will leave audiences thoroughly entertained. I could spend an entire evening listening to Serena Anis' take on life, pop culture, societal issues, and Bratz!! ...
