What I liked
The live band is awesome, the singers are so strong and charming, it was an absolutely joyful watch! There was clearly immense thought put into immersing the theatre goers in the whimsy of experience, in a way that feels extremely accessible to children and intentional by the director. (There’s also an area for kids to sit on the floor at the front to be closer to the action) Very glad we got to see this show!
What I didn't like
There were tiny tech things that are bound to happen in a preview and did not take away from the show and I’m certain will be ironed out by the next performance – otherwise they’re on a roll!
My overall impression
I think Baby Rock is an absolute delight for kids and families! It is funny and heartwarming, and uses a language barrier to showcase how little language actually factors into understanding each other at our core.
