It isn’t a cautionary tale, but it’s not extolling the virtues of kink either. It’s about escape and expression, and how it can turn self destructive if not used wisely. The result is normalization.
What I didn't like
The stage wasn’t made with acoustics in mind and without a mic to back it up the musical numbers suffer from inconsistent volume.
My overall impression
A deeply personal and at times uncomfortable story that was made both moving and at times funny by it’s talented performer.
