What I liked about it is that there’s this intersection that’s tugging between being innocent and fully accepting her kink. Jackie’s cat persona plays a role in seeing Jackie through the lens of being tender and innocent. The kink with the rope-play is a medium where she can safely play and explore her identity. Both of these identity expressions stood out to me.
What I didn't like
Could work a little more on the sound design during her production number. Singing’s great, but the music needs a little more volume.
My overall impression
My overall impression is that it felt raw, honest, and true what Jackie envisioned. It touched in me in ways where I can relate to where she’s coming from as someone who’s raised by Asian parents too.
