What I liked
The characterization of Jackie’s mother was strong, and such a unique use of the stage prop to symbolize bondage- wonderful use of the ropes as a metaphor throughout the piece- original songs as well with melodies tunes that stay with you.
What I didn't like
Just for the music singing to balance out to allow Jackie’s voice to soar and shine :)
My overall impression
A vulnerable story, and told through bondage, through dramedy!
“Through bondage, she found freedom.”
