I loved the well developed strong female characters in Space Quest. Andromeda’s adventurous spirit is captivating from being to end, and what an amazing voice! Princess Morgana delivers witty advice with comedic expertise, and smuggler Lo is wildly irreverent and fun! The male characters are also well developed. From smuggler Lance the flirting scoundrel, and Daniel the anxious rule following wizards’ apprentice, to the Sinister Dark Lord, and the cautious to a fault Glenn, the men hold their own with great performances as well. And the puppets! The puppets are hysterical!
What I didn't like
There were a couple music cue hiccups toward the end, that might be easily remedied with volume increases at those points. But overall, great show!
My overall impression
Laugh out loud musical parody with a strong ensemble cast. Great energy from everyone! Break out performances by Kennedy Danner as Andromeda and Nina Groll as Morgana.
