What I liked
Music was catchy, appreciated the special effects included in the costumes. Great use of levels and block formations to create the various sets. Lots of good prop moments, enjoyed the inclusion of puppetry, and every performer had a moment to shine. Fabulous cast!
What I didn't like
The choreography and fight choreography could be a bit tighter at times, but the energy was great throughout.
My overall impression
Loved it! Thoroughly enjoyed going on the space quest! Gave me Orville, Star Wars, Captain EO, OG Dune vibes. Can imagine this working well in many forms- at a regional theater, off-Broadway, at an amusement park, as a big-budget production with pyrotechnics, elaborate sets, etc. Could see this as a movie musical, too.
