What I liked
There is an intriguing premise with the show delving into the idea of the U.S. unwilling to fix their racist issues and instead resort to launching Black people into space to be relocated into another world. The actors were thoroughly engaging in both the comedic and dramatic moments! The sound and lighting effects were also extremely well done and helped add to the ambience of being in outer space.
What I didn't like
Projection is the biggest issue for the show as it was hard to hear half of what they were saying. The volume would work fine in an empty stage but in a packed audience like what I watched, the sound got swallowed up immensely. Other than that, there were a few technical issues when it came to the AI voice and their timing but that can be easily fixed.
My overall impression
An intriguing show about Black people being lifted to another world that mixes comedy and drama to good effect.
