About the Project
The Cutting Room Floor – Rock Musical romantic dramedy. Los Angeles, early 1990s. “After getting dumped on his 30th birthday, writer James is ready to call it quits in the city of Angels. Here are descriptions of each song: Hold On (Duet between James and Amber): Confused by his lingering sorrow and developing romantic feelings, James opens up to Amber and she responds with curious empathy. Lullaby (Amber): Annoyed by James’s resistance to change, Amber warns him that she’s not just some shoulder to cry on. Tinsel Town Blues (James): After LA new-comer Amber is fired from her first promising job, James reminds her that this feeling isn’t anything new – it’s the Tinsel Town Blues!
