The attempt to tell a contemporary complicated story about being neuro atypical in a story theatre style. Sophisticated in the use of fable and physical theatre. The actors were wonderful. Lola has a distinctive voice and this story touches deeply as so many have experienced the trials of being neuro- atypical.
What I didn't like
It was a fantastic evening in the theatre . The play is completely engrossing but it ends several times. In remounting it at some future date, Lola may want to refine the ending. But overall this was a definitive new voice.
My overall impression
This show was brave and moving. Lola is telling a fascinating and contemporary story in a wonderfully playful, spontaneous and yet very moving style. The supporting cast are wonderful.
