Each emotion is so carefully balanced with its opposite – for each laugh I laughed, a tear I’d also cry. Moments of happiness danced alongside rage and anger. The stories I witnessed unfold in the main character’s life prompted me to see situations from multiple perspectives. So beautifully written. Seriously.

My overall impression
So incredible. Lola has an amazing way of lacing all emotions into each moment of her play, inviting the audience to experience an array of joy, sorrow, excitement and pain alongside each other. Maybe I’ll Plant My Stories felt impossibly original; the storyline was relatable and yet novel simultaneously. The acting was equally impressive by the cast. Each member brought their characters to life and told a compelling story.
