Something I found delightful in this show was that even in the depths of the more serious moments, Christina had a way of getting the audience to laugh. That’s really telling of how well she held the audience along for the whole ride. The show has a great opening moment that sets the tone for what’s about to come and I particularly loved how the literal events told by her through the hour tied into the overall thematic exploration that Christina set out on.
What I didn't like
I was so curious about the items that Christina had set up on the stage and would have loved it if she engaged with them more. We already get an insight into her world, but I think the audience is still left with some of that curiosity as we leave the room.
My overall impression
Christina takes you on a journey that’s so real and vulnerable. As an audience member, there’s nothing more you can ask for from a performer.
