What I liked
Her comedic timing was spot on. Felt as if I was listening to a best friend speak directly to me. Not only is she funny, but also incredibly vulnerable. I left feeling moved and inspired.
What I didn't like
Honestly loved it, I could have watched her show all day, it flew by in the best ways. I can’t wait to see the future for this show.
My overall impression
For lack of a better word it was PHENOMENAL! I was laughing, crying, & healing. Christina truly has a gift as a story teller and needs to be in a writers room. She so eloquently narrated in a way I could vividly see every scenario in my mind. She so beautifully (and hilariously) bared her soul, sharing deeply personal feelings filled with cultural expectations, whilst still communicating a universal feeling of simply wanting to be good enough. Her story is specific to her, but relatable to anyone that feels “othered.” This show and Christina have something special. You simply must join her on her journey towards acceptance. Be prepared to laugh, but don’t forget the tissues.
