My overall impression
A woman. Life. A decision. And the inner dialogue that is ever so important. Almost too personal a conversation to have, this play goes there. What if we leave? What if we stay? What if we just take a break? It reminded me of the importance of meditation. It also reminded me we are not to blame for feeling incapable of sustaining a life under the current systems of oppression we’re in. Shofar and Oscar’s back and forth feel like the therapy session I didn’t know I needed. Sometimes, conjuring our very own Jiminy Cricket to talk things out can give us a new perspective to try and conquer another day.
