“Brainwashed” is a delightful time machine straight to the heart of the Eastern Bloc, fueled not just by Alina’s vivid storytelling but also by her boundless energy. It’s an immersive journey through life under a communist dictatorship, where she humorously tackles the quirks of growing up shaped by ideological indoctrination. From navigating food scarcity to whimsically longing for a slow dance with Lenin (among, uh other things), Alina’s vibrant energy radiates brighter than Chernobyl. Her performance promises to leave a lasting impact, blending humor with profound insights into the human experience.

Not enough nudity.
My overall impression
“Brainwashed" is brilliant! Alina approaches her story of growing up in Soviet Belarus with such heart and humor. Her strength—both physically and emotionally—is inspiring, and her comedic timing adds a delightful touch. It’s a show that really tugs at your heartstrings while keeping you smiling. Definitely a must-watch for anyone who loves a good story with a lot of heart!
