What I liked

I normally dread audience participation at the theatre, but this was smartly and unobtrusively done.

What I didn't like

Would love to see a longer run and larger budget, possibly even a little more exploration of the story. That being said, the run-time of this show was perfect and I would dissuade the team from adding much length to the story.

My overall impression

Thought-provoking and heartfelt show telling a unique story that elevates your average one-person show. Deserving of a longer run and a larger audience. Alina is talented, genuine and connects easily with the audience. Every single person, especially director Nathan, involved in the creation of “Brainwashed” knew the story they were telling and told it well.
