What I liked
Myriam is a brilliant performer! She becomes each character from a child, an old woman, a solider, and more! She explores their humanity which forces the audience to do the same. A beautiful triumph! After the show we all learned traditional Palestinian folk dances and danced together. Great merch that goes to a great cause! I love my sweatshirt and pin. Live music, great stories, and dancing is a celebration and an opportunity for people to experience the Palestinian people, as people. Congrats to Becca on the beautiful direction!

My overall impression
It’s a celebration of life and why stories are so important. Stories are proof that people exist(ed), their history, their humanity, and their culture. All people deserve to be remembered and HANDALA creates an experience to celebrate the Palestinian people with laughter, tears, and dance.
