What I liked

This show was so well polished, from the writing, set design, audio-visual elements, and tremendous acting. Miriam’s performance was astonishing! Her use of the stage and her body, her infinite presence, and the seamless transitions between stories and characters amazed me.

Beautifully constructed and magnificently performed. Handala offers a fresh, nuanced, humanizing, and dignified portrayal of real life in Palestine. A powerful, necessary, and important work of art.
