What I liked

With the use of live music, projections, and just a few symbolic props, we were able to immerse and feel the emotions of the multiple characters, beautifully performed by Myriam Ali.

While Handala is described as a Palestine celebration, and it shows, I also enjoyed it incorporates the perspective of a Jewish character in a non radical way, showing us how the war is causing pain too for many empathic humans beyond their flag or religion. May peace arise soon.

What I didn't like

All good!

My overall impression

Handala is an engaging and moving show with a cause. It’s a powerful collection of Gaza stories with all proceeds going towards helping victims in Gaza.

I loved the creativity and combination of elements from the team to convey the real and touching stories of hardship, resilience, pride and compassion that served as an inspiration for writer-performer Myriam Ali to create this meaningful show.
