About the Project
TIDE is a theatrical production that explores the intricate relationship between human destiny and the universe through a dream-like fairy tale approach. The play is set against the backdrop of the Nuwa myth and uses the symbolic power of tarot cards and the four elements to embody the complex interactions and entanglements of fate between humanity and the laws of the universe.
The play explores the changing social structure from matriarchy to patriarchy, as well as modern themes such as evolution, alienation, and artificial intelligence (AI). It examines the relationship between Nuwa and the humans she creates, delving into the connection between creator and creation, and the relationship between man and God.
Each performance is a unique exploration of the universe. The interaction between the audience and performers redefines the theatrical experience, creating an immersive and multi-dimensional journey for the senses.
