Not My Grandmother's Daughter

What I liked

From the staging to the set, the direction of this play is so smart, bravo to Michael Franco. Harley tells us about her grandmother, and through the stories and the audio recordings, I left the play feeling like I’d actually sat down and talked to her grandmother myself. The shadow puppetry is mesmerizing and matches the tone of this story perfectly. I’m thrilled to have witnessed such a beautiful story.
