What I liked
The Fairy Who Cried Gems is a heartfelt solo performance that explores how joy can be built from the shards of intergenerational trauma. Storyteller Lily Abha Cratsley weaves together a vibrant tapestry of folktales and personal history, drawing inspiration from the real experiences of Indian women growing up in the United States.
What I didn't like
Join us this June at The Madnani Theater for an intimate journey through memory, myth, and the magic of resilience.
My overall impression
Fantastical at drive mad times, verbatim at others, and always grounded in truth, this love letter to her little sisters invites audiences into the oral tradition of Desi-American girlhood.
