What I liked

Lily’s performance was stunning. She fully committed to each character and I found myself actually seeing a fish instead of a human haha. Her playful energy gave life to the words and their deep meaning. I loved all the attention to detail, everything from the props to lighting to music. The directing really stood out to me in this piece. Simran did a fantastic job putting her touch on the show. I hope to see another collaboration between the two artists again!

What I didn't like

Maybe slow down the delivery in moments. There is so much wonderful text coming at us that I wanted more time to sit with the story before moving forward to the next fun thing!

My overall impression

The Fairy Who Cried Gems is such an impressive show! The writing, directing, and performance were equally top notch. I loved the originality in the script and the commitment to bringing the magic to life on stage!
