What I liked
Lily being the only one on stage, she held her own like no one’s business.
What I didn't like
Perhaps the marketing so all of Los Angeles could see it.
My overall impression
If there’s anything I could have wanted growing up, it’s someone telling me that brown girls deserve to win, deserve to be happy and deserve to be admired just being for being them. Lily has made it her mission to tell this to her younger siblings through this play and ultimately to every brown woman out there. She is wonderful & talented and this is not to be missed.
