What I liked

A really unique exploration of south asian girlhood told through a cast of whimsical fairytale characters and a grounded, compelling narrator. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll leave wanting more.

Simran Fulton’s expert direction breathes life and wonder into Lily Abha Cratsley’s one-woman masterpiece.

What I didn't like

The minimalistic set design definitely worked, although it was clear that things were pared way down to work within production constraints. I would LOVE to see a version of this show with a scaled up set design that matches the over-the-top tone of the piece.

My overall impression

Beautiful, heartfelt, and funny- a triumph of cultural exploration
