I didn't expect to ever see anything artistic relating to the Themes Lily Explores in Los Angeles. She talked about difficulties South Asians face more that I have the courage to as an Indian. She is brave. ... full review

If there’s anything I could have wanted growing up, it’s someone telling me that brown girls deserve to win, deserve to be happy and deserve to be admired just being for being them. Lily has made it her mission to tell this to her younger siblings through this play and ultimately to every brown woman out there. She is wonderful & talented and this is not to be missed. ... full review

An amazing show that portrays the difficult journey of a mixed race individual, and on top of that, navigating it as a woman. It’s a heartfelt series of stories that all tie into Lily’s wish for leaving behind a message to support her younger sisters.... full review

Beautiful and heartfelt show that touched on questions of identity, feminism, and what it means to have your story be told as an afterthought in someone else's. There were funny moments, thought-provoking moments, and heart wrenching moments. It was great to hear about the playwright's personal journey while also feeling so seen in my own experience.... full review

Thought provoking, made me think about the stories I tell myself - about myself. Are they my own? Or sometimes tainted by how the world sees me. ... full review
