Emma Estrada Seeks Estardum

Emma has done it again! Her show was nothing short of spectacular. She was bold, she took risks, and she made us hysterically laugh! I wish I could describe in detail what I saw, but I can’t give any spoilers. Just know that it was super funny and I am jealous of everyone that gets to see this for the first time. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry laughing, you’ll die laughing. I highly recommend seeing Emma Estrada Seeks Estardum. 10/10. 5 stars. Emma has crafted a perfect vessel for her (delightful) physical, verbal, and emotional intensity and honesty; throughout the course of the evening, you are going find her hilarious, sympathetic, terrifying, intriguing, and surprising, oftentimes a combination of two or three or all of the above. For a show with so many moving parts, callbacks, setups and punchlines, Emma's consistent presence, trust in the audience/ability to surprise and mess around with us, and commitment is truly impressive, surprising, and in its own strange way, inspirational. Valley Kids unite!!! Emma is incredibly fresh, unique, and hilarious. She has such a strong stage presence, and knows exactly what her voice and style of humor is. There were moments where she gave me Napoleon Dynamite/Pedro on steroids vibes - which is my FAVORITE MOVIE OF ALL TIME - but even then, her show and performance are in a league all her own. ... full review

Emma is such a unique, fearless, and committed performer/comic/clown, she could make a paper clip funny, even riveting, and that's what so fascinating about her. She makes endless moments out of the mundane and it's really quite spectacular. She pushes boundaries in a safe, fun, playful way... she's a writer and an original thinker, a humorist, a satirist... and when you see her, much like a quality therapist, you're better off that when you came in.
