I thought it was a high quality production and performance all around. Rahvaunia created characters that were not only relatable but likable, if not lovable. I found myself emotionally invested in their stories which led me on an emotional journey, educating me along the way as much about people and relationships as HIV and AIDS.
Rahvaunia’s range was quite impressive. Not just the emotional range to go from heartbreaking to humorous in the blink of an eye, but also the ability to convincingly represent the mannerisms and energy of youth and old age in the same scene.
What I didn't like
A longer run. More people should see it.
My overall impression
This is a MUSTSEE show!! Well written. Phenomenal acting. A truly emotional journey. I plan to see it again and highly recommend you see it too!
Rahvaunia’s incredible talent shines throughout via a myriad of characters I found relatable if not recognizable.
The show helps raise visibility about HIV and uses that to also tell touching stories about the power of loving acceptance, both within interpersonal relationships and especially within ourselves.
