What I liked
I liked Rahvaunia’s skill in executing her many characters, the carefully woven swaths of sound and imagery and her bravery in engaging a very difficult topic.
What I didn't like
Perhaps more up to date information on living with AIDS via contemporary drug cocktails as well as the impact of PREP on AIDS vulnerable populations.
My overall impression
Rahvaunia is a skilled performer who goes to the depth of her soul to bring light to Southern AIDS stories of pain and suffering. Beautiful staging, authentically rendered characters and a very difficult subject.
