What I liked
the interactive portions were the perfect balance of engaging but structured – it wasn’t overwhelming to be spotlighted in the audience, truly just gratifying even if you’re shy. the performance itself was a fantastic balance of comedy, real emotion and weight. not to mention the treat of Chanel’s music!
What I didn't like
for the selected audience participants, it’d be extra fun to somehow be given an extra minute between receiving the script and saying the first line so that we could skim it, understand the tone, and add some flair to our performances
My overall impression
a queer communal catharsis! a clown cabaret not to missed! if you’re lucky and a good sport, you just may get to join the show yourself… no two nights are the same! it’s such a real and genuine experience, shared between the audience and the stage, a feeling of connection.
