What I liked
All of it. Especially the interactions with the audience. Felt like I was apart of it.
What I didn't like
Improvements are just risk taking adjustments. You won’t know if something works or doesn’t if you don’t try it. So if there is something you’ve been wanting to tweak/add/cut out/etc. do it and see how you and the audience responds to that.
If you’re feeling it, that’s an improvement but even if it fails, that’s an improvement too…because now you know 😊
My overall impression
Olivia is fantastic in this one woman show! Anyone who has experienced dating will find humor and relatability in her performance and walk away feeling seen…such a good feeling!
The writing is smart, witty, and impressionable and left my friend and I continuously referencing the show as we went about our evening plans afterwards.
I’d highly recommend checking out “American Single!” Bring a friend or two…or four…you’ll all love it!
