What I liked
Lucy has a distinct perspective on life and way of building a show around this that is beyond her years. Her presence invites you in and allows you to feel deeply, while taking you on a fun, hilarious, ride.
What I didn't like
She could be more innocent and unaffected. Haha, you’ll have to see the show to get this one.
My overall impression
Applause for Lucy Porter, who ushers in a new kind of ingenue! One that is hilariously self-conscious, while simultaneously being the most self-aware person in the room. Lucy is a fresh voice, tackling body issues, ego, and the performative nature of personality through cheeky lyrics and sparkling wit. From the minute she arrives on stage, you know you are in the hands of a seasoned writer/performer. She packs more into this show than a Chipotle burrito and everyone needs to see it!
