The writing was wildly specific: although we were in this small, blackbox theatre, the imagery and specificity of these characters took us all around the world with them, through many decades. I felt like we went to all of those places, and was right there with them (even though there were no set changes, costume changes, etc.) It was brilliant.
The direction was full of such depth. A play being under an hour could lack that kind of depth — but we went so far with the emotions of each character, and their journey together. I was wildly impressed with the emotional journey each of them took, and how that was the central focus of the piece.
The performances were spectacular. So inspiring. I was blown away by both of them.

My overall impression
“Nora and Jim” is a must-see, triumphant and heartfelt journey about true love, and the complexities that come with that. I laughed, cried, and was inspired in many ways. I would recommend highly to anyone!
