What I liked
What a performance! Along with having to deliver a complex, perfectly timed monologue, our guide has to contend with the unpredictability of walking along Santa Monica Blvd in the heart of Hollywood. I also enjoyed the way the show cleverly incorporates real buildings, office names and street art into its fictionalized tour. It’s so easy to imagine it’s all real.
What I didn't like
Not something that needs improvement, per se, but be aware that you’re outside for the entire thing and shade isn’t always available.
My overall impression
A must-see for fans of LA’s legendary music scene, Approximately 900 Feet cleverly blends fact with inspired fiction to pay tribute to the bands, groupies, roadies and shady figures of the 1960s. It’ll make you want to break out your classic vinyl and pull your old rock tees out of storage. And you may just find yourself getting emotional because like so many brilliant artists of the time, these girls were gone way too soon.
