What I liked
Funny, engaging and bizarre! This show feels like a doc about the band that could have opened for “The Runaways” but never got the chance! I’m glad someone is keeping their legacy alive!
What I didn't like
The music! The Music! I want to hear this band! too bad all their recordings burned in a fire! Or did they?? More rumors and he said she said!! I heard there is a Spotify tribute playlist!! Please send me the link!
My overall impression
This was a fun comedic history tour into the band known as “The Cock-Eyed Ladies of Liesure!” I wasn’t sure what to expect next as we strolled around Santa Monica Blvd and got a wild history lesson from a burned-out roadie, who claimed he knew the band, their crazed manager and several 60s and 70s rock icons! Tall-tales? Backstage stories? Maybe—but I was entralled to know more!
