What I liked
I could go on and on! Excellent use of projections, nostalgic song choices, and once again I really have to give it up for the awesome handcrafted props! Really well cast as well. The performers are all incredible!
What I didn't like
Nothing comes to mind really. I was totally engrossed in the show and only wish it had kept going!
My overall impression
Absolute blast from start to finish! The acting/writing/direction/fight choreography/props/costumes and tech were all seriously impressive and ingenious. (Especially the props and puppetry omg!) I didn’t know what to expect going in and certainly didn’t think it would take us to a rich fantasy world that blended classic swords & sorcery with fresh creative lore. I can’t recommend this show enough. Especially if you love fantasy, art, and trippy visuals. It’s funny too! But also very poignant and heartbreaking at times. I’d see it a second time if I could!
