Mayrui does such a seamless transition from character to character. She can go from a literal God to a Valley Girl. I felt like I left with knowledge and witnessing a wonderful show.

My overall impression
Mayuri is such a presence. From the story to the dance, the audience was in good hands. An educational exploration of the capitalistic consumption of cultures. Such a great takeaway of the real meaning behind these ancient practices rather than the ones that are commodified. Through story, the audience becomes aware that they most likely didn’t know the dilution of such a beautiful art and practice.
