What I liked
I liked the way such a serious matter was dealt with, joyful mixing dance, music and video with the historical and philosophical principles that constitute the yogic traditions “the West” fused with our thirst for marketing everything, spiritual things included. The atmosphere is perfect, the costumes well chosen (the first skirt, I see the symbolism and I appreciate it so much) and the vividness of the performance puts the audience in that magical place where art (in my view) is supposed to take us.
What I didn't like
Perhaps the pace. In at least two occasions I felt that the transitions could be slightly slower.
My overall impression
I had high expectations—and they were all confirmed! Mayuri is a formidable performer, the show is well written and executed and the message is extraordinarily relevant.
