What I liked
I loved that this show made me see these classic characters in a new way. The writing was fast paced and witty. Nicole and James are both terrific as individual actors, but more importantly the relationship and care between them was deeply moving. It felt like they were each others oasis.

My overall impression
This was show was clearly birthed from a deep love, appreciation and understanding of Hamlet and R&J. At the same time it’s accessible and enjoyable for non-shakespeare nerds! Even though I knew what was coming, I never got ahead of the show and loved watching these characters re-tell the horror stories of their days. Makes me wonder what other Shakespeare characters could have spin offs!
