What I liked
Melissa’s energy is just so fun to be around. The small venue works great for this piece, as it sort of makes you feel like you’re in her living room. The subject matter of the show could have easily drifted into schmalz, but the jokes are perfectly timed so that you are kept laughing while rooting for this woman you’ve never met but feel you know. Melissa just nails it.

Honestly, I thought it was kinda perfect :)
My overall impression
So charming, hilarious, and moving! From her very first words, you know you are in good hands. Melissa delivers so many bullseyes in this show, from smart jokes to sweet moments of insight into the bittersweet job of letting your teenager leave the nest. I loved it! Totally worth grabbing a ticket if you can
