What I liked
I LOVED the non-linear narrative of the story, travelling between stages of the characters life, Kristin embodied a stellar range of performance! The incorporation of projections, live piano were cherries on top, and the ending brought me to tears!
What I didn't like
There was one transition betwee scenes that was in blackout, I’d love to see it be filled with another video projection! When Yokai speaks in the dark, it’s absolutely powerful and shook me to the cores.
My overall impression
What a powerful and touching performance! Kristin’s energy filled the entire space, she is unafraid to be vulnerableandk and her execution throughout only elevated our experiences even more. I absolutely recommend this show for everyone, particularly fellow asian audiences to witness.
