I really enjoyed the way Jean embodied herself in different ages/situations and portrayed the other characters, each distinct. Jean makes it look easy but I’m sure it’s not! I loved every anecdote and felt each one added something important to the whole picture. The way it ended with the mother-daughter conversation was a wonderful twist (her mother does know) and made the show even more meaningful for me.
What I didn't like
I generally enjoyed the energetic pace of the show, but there were a couple of moments where the transition from one story to the next went faster than my brain could process. I’m sorry I can’t remember the exact moments to be more helpful!
My overall impression
Equally funny and vulnerable, this show touches deeply on a very human desire to be authentic and whole.
