It’s a fearless performance. She puts it all out there, and you really experience it like you’re living vicariously through her. I feel this has potential to be a great indie film, and I hope Jean is working on the screenplay.
What I didn't like
The example of the guy saying he knew he was kinky from the moment he wrote “mine” on a little girl’s knuckles was creepy and memorable, but didn’t feel sexual. Maybe help us to understand how this “ownership” of another person leads to a sexual power dynamic.
My overall impression
A fascinating and raw account of a woman’s journey into sexual self-discovery and an S&M subculture that most of us will never see.
