What I liked
I loved the complexity of the staging with such a simple set! It really showcased the story and made it more powerful without being distracted by other props.
What I didn't like
It was a really beautiful show. I would not venture to advise improvements.
My overall impression
What a fabulous, healthy, and NEEDED exploration of sexuality. I wasn’t sure going in what direction this show would take, but Jean’s honesty and vulnerability created a safe space for an open conversation not just about sexuality but about mothers and daughters and how they approach the awkward conversations that we are sometimes very reluctant to have.
