What I liked
Pacing, act structure, character arc, and messaging all worked well together. Raymond created an inviting space. Where this subject matter could trigger feelings of discomfort within the audience, Raymond’s charisma and sincerity created an opportunity for us to safely feel vulnerable.
What I didn't like
I would have liked a cafe de olla to accompany my concha ;)
My overall impression
An amazing performance that reflects the marginalizing attitude of the entertainment industry. There is an optimistic call to action that gives autonomy and hope to those excluded from entertainment but committed to the arts. Additionally, it was very funny!
