About the Project
This works in progress performance explores the connections between celebrations and ceremonies throughout the world. The art and cultures of capoeira(Brazil),salsa(Cuba), hip-hop(Bronx,USA) and aerial acrobatics are explored in this movement/sound project. Professional artists and a new generation of children redefine how communities create and evolve the idea and practice of celebration and ceremony everyday.
