What I liked

I loved seeing such a queer cast and so much gender bending! The cast has fun chemistry, especially Beatrice and Benedick. Their dynamic was so interesting and nuanced. Beatrice was such a firecracker with such a grounded presence. The Don Jon was the funniest portrayal I’ve ever seen. Hero was a big stand out for me. You could tell they knew the text like the back of their hand and were capable of playing with their comedic timing so effortlessly. Loved all the chest plates!

What I didn't like

I felt that a few people were struggling to project enough. Lighting could be improved, felt people were shadowed too often. Also felt like the Margaret could tighten up the lip syncing and sit with the text some more. Margaret’s dialogue is some of the best in the play and it felt like there wasn’t much intention behind her words.

My overall impression

Had such a fun time experiencing this romp of a show! This cast put their heart into this project.
