Having a second actor play herself is inspired. The openness the show has for an audience to connect and participate is refreshing. It’s far more than a traditional solo show with a single person sharing their vulnerability with an audience. It’s highly charming and delightful.
What I didn't like
The triumphant ending felt brief. We should have partied for a while.
My overall impression
It was delicious humor poured on sweet and sad truth. Pamela is by turns really cute, and really genuine. The play’s perspective is very relatable while she and the freewheeling structure of the show are very engaging.
